Facilities and Equipment: RINI’s office and research laboratory is in Oviedo, Florida approximately one mile from the University of Central Florida. The 12,000 square foot facility provides flexible space for the administration, engineering, research and development, integration and rapid prototyping; with 6,000 square feet of laboratory space with a fully equipped machine shop.
RINI Technologies laboratory is equipped with several fully automated data acquisition systems, computers, high voltage power supplies, chillers, thermal test chambers, life and reliability test stations for systems and components, and other equipment needed to conduct research and development in thermal management fields.
RINI’s on-site machine shop facility houses several CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and manual equipment; enabling precision machining capabilities. This fully capable on-site facility allows for rapid fabrication of custom prototype parts and the flexibility to make rapid design changes facilitating parametric design tests to be conducted.
Facilitated through the CFTI program, RINI Technologies collaborates with UCF partners within the Colleges of Engineering, the School of Optics, and the Office of Research. Through this collaboration, RINI Technologies has access to laboratory and research facilities which include a clean room, a scanning electron microscope, and an array of fully equipped labs that include fiber optics, laser plasma, spectroscopy and many others resources.
